Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is representing a premier financial institution in Asia seeking a Technology and Transformation Leader to drive a core banking transformation in Hong Kong. You will own country-level delivery, manage governance, and oversee vendor/SI activities, ensuring regulatory alignment and business outcomes.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong program governance, and cross-functional collaboration across business, operations, IT and control functions, with on-site presence

Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional experience with at least 10 years in large-scale banking programs.
• Deep core banking and corporate banking operations knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong banking regulations.
• Proficient in Waterfall and Agile project management.
• Willing to work on-site in Hong Kong.
• Professional certifications like PMP/Prince2/PgMP/SAFe are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own country-level delivery from init to go-live, including planning and budgeting.
• Chair or co-chair steering committees and align with regional program office.
• Oversee vendor engagement and SI activities to meet scope.
• Coordinate delivery across business, operations, IT and control functions.
• Lead country-level change management, training, UAT, and cutover planning.
• Rigorously track KPIs, escalate risks, and report to governance.
