Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Program Manager to lead the end-to-end Core Banking transformation, overseeing planning, execution and change management to align with regional standards and local regulations.

You will drive product implementations, in-country rollouts, and act as the bridge between Country and Region while coordinating with multiple stakeholders and vendors to ensure a robust, scalable platform transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in IT/CS or related field.
• 10+ years in project/program management for large banking IT transformations.
• PMP/Prince2/PgMP or SAFe desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Core Banking transformation, including planning, execution and change management.
• Mitigate manual operations; lead product implementations and in-country rollouts.
• Provide leadership, governance and direction to the country project team for regional delivery.
• Bridge Country and Region to land regional solutions while safeguarding local regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with country/region/head office stakeholders, vendors and IT teams for scalable platform transformation.
• Reporting and controls — report progress to Regional Program Office.

Job description

• Program manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Core Banking transformation (core system replacement) for Hong Kong branch, includes planning, execution, and change management aligned to regional/global standards, local regulatory needs, business objectives
• Mitigate the high dependence on manual operations, lead various Product Implementations and in country roll outs
• Provide leadership, governance, and direction to the country project team to ensure the successful delivery of related projects and initiatives across the Core Banking Program of Hong Kong
• Serve as the bridge between Country and Region, ensuring the successful landing of regional solutions while safeguarding local regulatory and business interests.
• Work closely with various internal country / region / head office stakeholders, third party vendors, and technology teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing platform transformation
• Reporting& controls- Report progress to Regional Program Office

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
• Over 10+ years of professional experience, including relevant experience in project and program management, particularly within large-scale and complex banking IT transformation or migration initiatives
• Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile frameworks
• Professional qualifications such as PMP, Prince2, PgMP, or SAFe are desirable and would be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of core banking and corporate banking operations, as well as familiarity with Hong Kong banking regulations
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English as interacting with Business stakeholders in Hong Kong and China is critical for this role.
