Job summary

Obita is seeking a hands-on Financial Institutions & Partnerships Manager to expand and operationalize our global payment network. You will work with banks, PSPs, OTC partners, and liquidity providers, managing partnerships from initial engagement through onboarding, integration, testing, and go-live.

This role is ideal for someone who understands payment operations, enjoys working across teams, and can turn partnership discussions into live payment capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Approximately 4–6 years of experience in banking, payments, fintech, financial institutions, or digital assets.
• Practical experience with banks, PSPs, or other financial infrastructure partners.
• Experience in partner onboarding, due diligence, account opening, contracting, or implementation projects.
• Good understanding of cross-border payment flows, including collection, payout, FX, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with banks, payment institutions, OTC partners, liquidity providers, and other financial infrastructure partners.
• Support development of fiat collection, payout, FX, settlement, and stablecoin on/off-ramp capabilities across key markets.
• Coordinate partner assessments, commercial discussions, KYC/KYB, due diligence, account opening, and contract execution.
• Work with Product, Technology, Treasury, Compliance, and Operations on API integration, UAT, test transactions, settlement validation, and launch readiness.
• Track onboarding progress, resolve blockers, and drive multiple partnership projects toward successful implementation.
• Support negotiations on pricing and settlement terms, manage ongoing partner relationships, and resolve operational or technical issues after launch.
• Monitor payment infrastructure developments, regulatory changes, and emerging partnership opportunities.
