Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Director, Global Air Product & Solutions to lead worldwide air freight procurement, product development and strategic carrier management. You will drive global strategy, strengthen airline partnerships and deliver commercial excellence to support international growth.

The role requires 15+ years in air freight/logistics with global leadership, strong negotiation skills and a track record in BSAs and tender management. Fluent in English and Cantonese is preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics with regional/global leadership.
• Strong expertise in airline procurement, carrier negotiations, and capacity management.
• Proven track record with BSAs, carrier agreements, and strategic airline partnerships.
• Experience in air freight product development, pricing strategy and tender management.
• Led network transformation or optimization initiatives in a matrix organisation.
• Degree in logistics/supply chain; MBA is advantageous; fluent English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global air freight procurement and product strategies.
• Lead global air freight initiatives across regions and align with commercial goals.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations for planning.
• Build and manage airline partnerships, securing agreements and incentives.
• Negotiate carrier agreements to optimise capacity and cost.
• Support tenders and RFQs with pricing strategies and value-added offerings.
• Establish pricing governance and procurement policies across markets.
• Drive digital transformation and data-driven air freight solutions.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on transformation initiatives.
• Partner with market leaders to develop industry-specific logistics solutions.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholders in a global matrix organisation.
