Job summary

Tencent is seeking a Global Communications Specialist to drive AI, cloud and technology narratives across global markets from its Hong Kong base. You will partner with business, product and tech teams, translate complex AI developments into clear narratives, and shape regional messaging while advancing thought leadership and media engagement.

You'll work with regional teams to tailor global narratives for different markets and explore new channels, including podcasts and social media, to amplify

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English; strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
• Experience in corporate communications, technology communications, public relations or related fields.
• Strong understanding of international media and communications practices.
• Ability to understand complex technology topics and communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders, product teams, engineers or technical experts.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global communications across Tencent AI and cloud initiatives.
• Serve as communications partner to business, product and technology teams.
• Identify opportunities from product developments, customer use cases, partnerships and industry trends.
• Translate complex technical and business information into clear narratives for international audiences.
• Develop PR materials, talking points, Q&As, briefings and media pitches.
• Adapt global narratives for regional markets with the Regional Communications team.
• Explore new channels and repurpose content across media, social, and digital platforms.
• Support editorial calendars, campaign concepts and multimedia content.
