Job summary

China Mobile International Limited is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to join the Global Legal & Regulatory Affairs team at the Hong Kong Headquarters. You will own high-impact commercial transactions, oversee cross-border regulatory navigation, and advise on AI and cloud initiatives while implementing AI-powered legal workflows.

You will have opportunities for regional rotations and visa sponsorship to support cross-border leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized institution.
• Bar admission to HK, another common-law jurisdiction, or PRC will be considered.
• 2–7 years PQE at a reputable law firm or MNC; seniority up to 10+ years considered for counsel roles.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close cross-border commercial agreements including cloud/AI/telecom contracts.
• Oversee end-to-end contracting lifecycle from drafting to renewal and amendments.
• Advise on cross-border regulatory navigation, export controls, data privacy and licensing.
