Job summary

Colliers Hong Kong is seeking a commercial real estate project management professional to join our Hong Kong team. You will support the delivery and execution of assigned projects, liaise with owners/clients, landlords, developers, and coordinate design management from concept through construction documentation.

The role requires a university degree in Real Estate or related field, 1–4 years of experience in commercial real estate projects, and strong English and Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Real Estate, Project Management or related field is required.
• Formal PM/buildingsurveying/interior design training is preferred.
• 1–4 years of solid experience managing commercial real estate projects, preferably fit-out/refurbishment/retail.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and execution of the project/s assigned.
• Liaise with owners/clients, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other service providers.
• Assist the design management process from concept through construction documentation.
• Prepare cost estimation and manage tendering process and contract administration.
• Support procurement activities, manage contracts and services for owners/clients.
• Supervise construction works on-site and coordinate trades.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Assist in project close-out and handover to clients/owners.
• Monitor project financials, including tracking invoices and timely payments.

Due to recent growth in our business across the region, we are looking for a commercial real estate project management professional in the Hong Kong team.

Job Description

How you would contribute to business:

• Support the delivery and execution of the project/s assigned
• Liaise with owners/clients, landlords, developers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other service providers
• Assist the design management process from concept through construction documentation
• Prepare cost estimation and manage tendering process and contract administration
• Support procurement activities, manage the contracts and services for and on behalf of the owners/clients
• Supervise construction works on-site and coordination of trades
• Prepare and maintain project schedules
• Contribute to identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, ensuring issues are promptly addressed.
• Ensure proper project close-out and handover of projects to clients/owners
• Assist in monitoring project financials, including tracking invoices and supporting timely payment collection from owners/clients
• Other functions to be assigned by the Project Director/Team Head

Qualifications

Skills that help you excel in the role:

• University degree holder, preferably in Real Estate, Project Management or related discipline
• Formal training in project management / buildingsurveying / interior design is preferred
• 1-4yearsof solid experience in running commercial real estate projects, preferablycommercial fit-out / office refurbishment / retail projects
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Project Manager
• Problem solving and analytical ability to generate information that provides sound business decisions.
• Experienced in delivering international quality projects in distant markets using in-house or third party providers is an added value.
• Proven participation in development planning and execution experience, and able to adapt these skills in a fast-paced environment requiring close interaction with clients and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Familiar with design software, e.g. AutoCAD, Adobe Indesign, SketchUp, etc. will be an advantage
