Job summary

Nova Insurance Group in Hong Kong seeks an experienced professional to support major corporate accounts in general insurance. You will assist in developing opportunities, prepare client proposals, analyses and underwriting specifications, and maintain strong client and insurer relationships.

The role requires 4+ years in general insurance, proficiency in English and Chinese, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Qualifications in insurance accreditation are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in general insurance, preferably in insurance broking.
• Progress in professional qualifications in Insurance (CII, ANZIIF, etc.) would be an asset.
• Out-going and sociable character with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist to serve major corporate accounts and explore business development opportunities in general insurance.
• Prepare underwriting specifications, client proposals, analyses and presentations as required.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, insurers and business partners.
• Negotiate with insurers for competitive terms and conditions and address client account issues.
