Deutsche Post is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Kwai Hing with responsibilities to coordinate and monitor general and special cargo shipments. You will issue instructions to airlines, warehouses, and transport providers, ensuring compliance with IATA, security, customs, and DHL standards.

• Proficient in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Experience in logistics is preferred (3–4 years).
• Proficient PC skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

• Coordinate and monitor the handling of general/special cargo shipments.
• Issue operational instructions to airlines, warehouse operators, ground handlers, and transport providers.
• Ensure compliance with IATA, aviation security, customs, and DHL standards.
• Verify permits, licenses, declarations, and certificates for shipment movement.
• Liaise with internal teams, airlines, cargo terminals, customs brokers, authorities, and customers.
• Monitor milestones and resolve operational issues, delays, or compliance exceptions.
• Investigate irregularities and prepare incident reports with corrective actions.
• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
• Contribute to process improvement and digitalization initiatives.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports.

Working location: Kwai Hing(occasional work at Chek Lap Kok CFS/CTO may be required).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the handling of general/special cargo shipments.
• Review handling requirements and issue operational instructions to airlines, warehouse operators, ground handlers, transport providers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IATA regulations, aviation security requirements, customs regulations, airline handling procedures, and DHL operational standards.
• Verify permits, licenses, declarations, certificates, and supporting documentation required for shipment movement.
• Liaise with internal operational teams, airlines, cargo terminal operators, customs brokers, government authorities, and customers to ensure smooth cargo execution.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues, delays, damages, shortages, or compliance exceptions.
• Investigate operational irregularities, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, quality reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Contribute to process improvement, digitalization initiatives, operational efficiency programs, and implementation of new procedures and regulations.
• Maintain accurate operational records and management reports.

Requirements

• Degree or above or qualification equivalent to Level 4 of Qualifications Framework (QF)
• Preferably with 3-4 years relevant experience in logistics industry.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in handling Dangerous Goods, Temperature-Controlled, Valuable, or Compliance-controlled cargo is an advantage.
• Proficient in PC operations, e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Remarks: Less experience will be considered as Senior Coordinator
