Job summary

The Event Technology Coordinator supports registration websites, databases, and on-site processes to ensure accurate data and smooth attendee experiences.

You will work with registration platforms (Cvent, Splash, Aventri, Eventbrite), Excel and related tools, coordinate cross-functionally, and travel as needed to events.

Qualifications

• Experience with attendee data management and event technology, including entry level meeting planning and coordination with registration and event technology or relevant internship experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
• Experience with registration platforms such as Cvent, Splash, Certain, Aventri, Eventbrite; other platforms also acceptable.
• General knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and oral communication skills at all levels.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to think innovatively.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and travel to on-site events.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with event registration websites, app builds and all technological aspects of our events.
• Database management to ensure consistency in information, accuracy of new and existing data, and list generation.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams; respond to queries within SLAs.
• Assist in contacting clients for relevant information pertaining to the event.
• Coordinate name badges, tent cards, place cards, notices, emails, agendas and signage as needed.
• Lead onsite registration procedures; train temp staff and monitor attendee participation.
• Travel periodically to oversee attendee logistics and registration for offsite events.
• Create and distribute post-event client surveys.
• Manipulate lists to provide registration data, year-on-year analytics and insights.
• Track time spent on projects to reflect work accurately.
