Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking a technical pre-sales specialist to advance IBM software solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. You will lead discovery sessions, demonstrate products, and support PoC/PoV activities with partners and customers.

You will collaborate with sales, architecture, vendors and delivery teams in international contexts, translating business needs into technical requirements and driving digital transformation with IBM solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, consulting or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions; experience with IBM software technologies encouraged.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments, APIs, integrations, data platforms, identity management, security and automation concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Confidence delivering workshops, product demonstrations, technical presentations and PoC activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to gathering requirements and evaluating solution fit.
• Proven ability to collaborate across sales, architecture, vendors, partners and delivery teams in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with partners and customers to understand objectives, requirements and current environments.
• Recommend and position IBM software solutions aligned with customer needs and outcomes.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, webinars and technical briefings for technical and business audiences.
• Scope and support PoC and PoV activities, defining success criteria and coordinating resources.
• Contribute technical expertise to proposals, RFI/RFP responses, statements of work and partner quotations.
• Validate solution fit by assessing integrations, dependencies, sizing, deployments, assumptions and risks.
• Enable partner success through technical training, knowledge transfer and sales enablement assets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IBM software technologies, competing solutions and cloud trends.
