Job summary

Chem Technologies in Hong Kong is seeking an Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and review electrical systems (LV, ELV, lighting, power distribution, grounding) for diverse projects.

You will prepare and review drawings, load schedules, and submissions; supervise on-site installation to ensure compliance with drawings and standards; coordinate with clients and other disciplines; monitor progress and report deviations; support testing and commissioning and liaise with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and review electrical systems (LV, ELV, lighting, power distribution, grounding, etc.) according to project requirements.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, load schedules, and material submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other engineering disciplines on technical issues.
• Supervise installation works on site to ensure compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, perform site inspections, and report deviations or issues to the Project Manager.
• Support testing and commissioning activities and prepare related reports.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material procurement and delivery schedule.
• Ensure all works comply with safety and quality standards.
