About the job Assistant Engineer/ Engineer - Project (ELV System)

Responsibilities

• Design ELV systems applied to buildings project including commercial, residential and institutional projects.
• Prepare benchmarking, design reports, feasibility studies, tender documents, tender assessment, innovative presentation material and other deliverables.
• Review various technical submissions and liaise with utilities and government authorities.
• Responsible for costing, tender estimation, tendering procurement, and subcontractor monitoring
• Prepare required drawings, corresponding documents and statutory submission
• Assist the Project Manager in overall project operations, co-ordination and handover
• Assist the Project Manager to supervise a team of junior technical staff / subcontractors to ensure the smooth running of the project, on-time delivery and completion of site works in a safety manner
• Monitor work progress and site safety in compliance with the contractual and statutory requirements
• May work excess hours

Requirements

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Computer Engineering / Information Engineering or related Engineering disciplines
• Good communication and project coordination
• Proactive, drive to success, responsible and able to work independently and under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Office and AUTOCAD software applications is preferred
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer
