Majestic Engineering Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Engineer/Project Engineer – ELV to join our dynamic engineering team in Hong Kong. You will design, implement and manage ELV systems across diverse projects, developing technical expertise while contributing to high-quality project delivery.

You will design ELV solutions (fire alarm, access control, CCTV, building automation), prepare drawings and BOQs, and coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure timely, compliant results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of ELV systems including fire alarm, access control, CCTV.
• Proficient in CAD software and technical drawing tools.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards is preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and coordinate ELV systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, specs and BOQ for ELV installations.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to meet milestones.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety on site; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support senior engineers and supervise junior staff as needed.

Majestic Engineering Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Engineer/Project Engineer – ELV to join our dynamic Engineering team. As Assistant Engineer/Project Engineer – ELV, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise in electrical engineering whilst contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects that impact our clients and the wider industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and coordinate Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including fire alarm systems, access control systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and building management systems
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities for ELV installations using industry-standard software
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments to determine project requirements and technical constraints
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
• Monitor project progress, quality assurance, and adherence to health and safety regulations on site
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to ensure optimal system performance
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Support senior engineers and project managers in the planning and execution of complex ELV projects
• Assist in the training and supervision of junior technical staff as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of ELV systems, including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and building automation systems
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing tools
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations (such as Hong Kong electrical regulations and international standards)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with project management software and site coordination procedures
