BOCI is seeking an ED/MD, Head of Fixed Income Sales to lead the Fixed Income Sales team and drive client relationships with institutions, corporates and wealth clients across bonds, rates, FX and structured products in a dynamic market environment.

The role requires 12+ years in top financial institutions, fluency in Chinese and English, and strong cross-functional coordination. It offers a permanent, senior leadership path within the Fixed Income division in Hong Kong.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related quantitative discipline.
• 12+ years in major financial institutions with extensive distribution channel relationships.
• Familiarity with international fixed-income products and team-management experience.
• 2+ years’ FT experience in HK or overseas is an advantage.
• Fluent in Chinese and English, including Mandarin and Cantonese; strong communication.

The Role

ED/MD, Head of Fixed Income Sales, Fixed Income

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the Fixed Income Sales team, develop business relationship with financial institutions, corporates, and wealth management/private banking clients across bonds, rates, FX, and structured products to meet the department's business targets;
• Track market trends, shifts on client demand, and regulatory policies, work with the structured products and trading teams to support the development head in setting fixed income business strategies;
• Partner with other front-office departments on cross-selling opportunities, and work with middle- and back-office teams to optimize processes, systems, and risk controls for fixed income sales and trading;
• Carry out other duties assigned by the company and the department head.

Skills & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline;
• 12+ years of experience at leading financial institutions, with extensive relationships across distribution channels covering local, international, and Mainland institutional investors, corporate treasuries, and private banking;
• Familiarity with a broad range of international fixed-income products; and team-management experience;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Fluent in Chinese and English, including Mandarin and Cantonese, with strong communication and coordination skills in multilingual and multicultural environments.
