Job summary

BOCI is seeking an ED/MD, Head of Fixed Income Sales to lead the Fixed Income Sales team and drive client relationships with institutions, corporates and wealth clients across bonds, rates, FX and structured products in a dynamic market environment.

The role requires 12+ years in top financial institutions, fluency in Chinese and English, and strong cross-functional coordination. It offers a permanent, senior leadership path within the Fixed Income division in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related quantitative discipline.
12+ years in major financial institutions with extensive distribution channel relationships.
Familiarity with international fixed-income products and team-management experience.
2+ years’ FT experience in HK or overseas is an advantage.
Fluent in Chinese and English, including Mandarin and Cantonese; strong communication.

Responsibilities

Lead the Fixed Income Sales team and develop client relationships across banks, corporates and wealth clients.
Track market trends and client demand; support strategy with trading and structured products.
Partner with front-office and back-office teams to optimize processes and risk controls for FI sales and trading.
Carry out duties assigned by the department head.
