Based in Hong Kong, you will drive revenue by originating opportunities, manage client relationships across HK and Greater China, and coordinate with cross-border market infrastructure teams to navigate Bond Connect and related initiatives.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Fixed Income Sales or related front-office role.
• Strong grasp of onshore/offshore China fixed income & Bond Connect.
• Established client network in HK/China institutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English; Mandarin/Cantonese a plus.

Responsabilidades

Role Summary:

BGC is seeking a highly experienced fixed income professional with extensive knowledge of onshore and offshore fixed income markets, Bond Connect, key client segments, and cross-border market infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of BGC Group's fixed income strategy across North Asia, helping to expand market share, strengthen client relationships, and drive commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth by originating and executing fixed income business opportunities across North Asia, with a particular focus on Hong Kong and Greater China.
• Generate new business leads and revenue through existing and prospective client relationships.
• Provide pricing, execution and broking services across onshore and offshore fixed income products, including CNH, USD and HKD-denominated bonds and credit instruments.
• Identify new business opportunities arising from Bond Connect and other cross-border fixed income market initiatives and infrastructure developments.
• Contribute to the development and execution of BGC Group's fixed income growth strategy across North Asia and expand BGC's client franchise and market presence.
• Identify new business opportunities arising from Bond Connect and other cross-border fixed income market initiatives and infrastructure developments.
• Monitor market developments, industry trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks affecting clients and the broader fixed income market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key market participants across Hong Kong, China and the broader APAC region.
• Work effectively with other functions to ensure all legal, compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
• Partner effectively with external clients and internal management.

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience within Fixed Income Sales, Fixed Income Brokerage, Credit Sales or a related front-office role.
• Strong understanding of onshore and offshore China fixed income and credit markets, including Bond Connect and other cross-border market access mechanisms.
• In-depth knowledge of CNH, USD and HKD-denominated bond and credit products.
• Established network of clients and key market participants across Hong Kong and China i.e.: institutional investors, banks, asset managers, and securities firms etc.
• Demonstrated success in business origination, client acquisition and revenue generation within fixed income markets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and revenue-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent communications in English is required, Mandarin / Cantonese is a plus.
