The Peninsula Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead our luxury Housekeeping Department. Based in Tsim Sha Tsui, you will drive service excellence, maintain brand standards, and oversee Guest Rooms, Public Areas, Laundry, and Linen with a focus on guest satisfaction.

You will manage budgeting, P&L, staffing, and supplier partnerships, mentor a high-performing team, and champion innovation through technology. Fluent English required; Cantonese/Mandarin advantageous.

• Minimum 10 years of related housekeeping management experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Cantonese or Mandarin advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale renovations, transformations, and continuous improvement in luxury hospitality.
• Strong business acumen with expertise in budgeting, strategic planning and service quality.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building with executive teams, hotel colleagues and external partners.

• Lead housekeeping-related transformation and enhancement projects from planning to post-project quality assurance.
• Champion innovation across Housekeeping through technology and data to boost productivity and service delivery.
• Manage departmental resources: budgeting, labour costs, inventory control, and maintenance expenditures.
• Build partnerships with suppliers, contractors and service providers for high‑quality outcomes.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing housekeeping team through recruitment, coaching and development.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for the Housekeeping Department and contribute to the overall Rooms Division strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, luxury service standards, and brand positioning.
• Direct all Housekeeping operations, including Guest Rooms, Public Areas, Laundry, Linen, Uniform, and Floral Operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
• Drive operational excellence through regular inspections, quality audits, and cross-functional collaboration to consistently deliver The Peninsula's renowned service standards and guest experience.
• Lead housekeeping-related transformation and enhancement projects, overseeing planning, implementation, handovers, and post-project quality assurance to ensure seamless execution and operational readiness.
• Champion innovation across Housekeeping operations, leveraging technology and data to enhance productivity, operational agility and service delivery.
• Manage departmental resources effectively, including budgeting, P&L performance, labour costs, inventory control, operating supplies, and maintenance expenditures, while identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that support operational excellence.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Housekeeping team through effective recruitment, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

General Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of related housekeeping management experience in the luxury hospitality industry, with leadership experience in renowned hospitality brands.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects, renovations, transformations, and continuous improvement initiatives within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong business acumen with expertise in strategic planning, operational execution, budget management, and service quality enhancement.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive committee, hotel colleagues, head office, and external partners.
