Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, seeks an Executive Assistant Manager - Rooms to lead the Rooms Division and shape the guest journey. You will inspire Front Office, Housekeeping, GSC, Engineering, and Security teams while driving service excellence and business performance.

With 8–10 years in Rooms leadership, including Director of Rooms experience, you will translate insights into action, optimize revenue, manage budgets, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
• 8–10 years progressive Rooms Division leadership experience, including at least 2 years as Director of Rooms.
• Experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, or the Asia Pacific region with strong local market knowledge.
• Strong commercial acumen to drive revenue, manage budgets, optimize productivity, and meet business objectives.
• Strategic and forward-thinking leader who translates insights into action and elevates guest experience.
• People-first leadership with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rooms Division (Front Office, Housekeeping, GSC, Engineering, Security) to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Drive HeartBeat, guest satisfaction, and online reputation through continuous service excellence.
• Partner with GSC and Quality Manager to identify opportunities and elevate the guest journey.
• Provide strategic leadership to maximize operational efficiency, productivity, and financial performance across the Rooms Division.
• Develop and inspire high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with the Executive Committee to support hotel-wide initiatives and achieve business objectives.

A little taste of your day-to-day

• Leading the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Service Centre, Engineering and Security, to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Driving HeartBeat, guest satisfaction, and online reputation results through continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence.
• Partnering closely with the Guest Service Centre and Quality Manager to identify opportunities, enhance service recovery, and elevate the guest journey.
• Providing strategic leadership to maximize operational efficiency, productivity, and financial performance across the Rooms Division.
• Developing and inspiring high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, talent development, and succession planning.
• Collaborating with the Executive Committee to support hotel-wide initiatives and achieve business objectives.

What We Need From You

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive Rooms Division leadership experience within luxury or lifestyle hotels, including at least 2 years' experience as a Director of Rooms.
• Experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China, or the Asia Pacific region, with a strong understanding of the local hospitality market and business environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue performance, manage budgets, optimize productivity, and achieve business objectives.
• A strategic and forward-thinking leader who can translate insights into action, elevate the guest experience, and continuously improve HeartBeat and reputation performance.
• A people-first leadership style with a passion for developing talent, building high-performing teams, and fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin is an advantage
