The Peninsula Hong Kong, HSH’s flagship hotel, opened in 1928 and is renowned for its harbour views, classical grandeur and modern in-room technology. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, it features 300 guestrooms and suites, award-winning restaurants, a spa and luxury retail arcade.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in luxury housekeeping management, with English proficiency and a track record in large-scale projects, renovations, and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of related housekeeping management experience in luxury hospitality.
• English fluency; Cantonese or Mandarin beneficial.
• Proven track record leading large-scale renovations and transformations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for the Housekeeping Department and Rooms Division strategy.
• Direct all Housekeeping operations including Guest Rooms, Public Areas, Laundry, Linen, Uniform, and Floral.
• Drive quality audits and cross-functional collaboration to uphold luxury standards.
• Lead housekeeping transformation projects from planning to handover and QA.
• Champion innovation through technology and data to improve productivity and service.
• Manage budgeting, labour costs, inventory, and maintenance expenditures.
• Build partnerships with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing Housekeeping team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for the Housekeeping Department and contribute to the overall Rooms Division strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, luxury service standards, and brand positioning.
• Direct all Housekeeping operations, including Guest Rooms, Public Areas, Laundry, Linen, Uniform, and Floral Operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.
• Drive operational excellence through regular inspections, quality audits, and cross-functional collaboration to consistently deliver The Peninsula's renowned service standards and guest experience.
• Lead housekeeping-related transformation and enhancement projects, overseeing planning, implementation, handovers, and post-project quality assurance to ensure seamless execution and operational readiness.
• Champion innovation across Housekeeping operations, leveraging technology and data to enhance productivity, operational agility and service delivery.
• Manage departmental resources effectively, including budgeting, P&L performance, labour costs, inventory control, operating supplies, and maintenance expenditures, while identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that support operational excellence.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Housekeeping team through effective recruitment, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

General Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of related housekeeping management experience in the luxury hospitality industry, with leadership experience in renowned hospitality brands.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects, renovations, transformations, and continuous improvement initiatives within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong business acumen with expertise in strategic planning, operational execution, budget management, and service quality enhancement.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive committee, hotel colleagues, head office, and external partners.
