All Star Agency is recruiting a Director for Commodities and Trade Finance in Hong Kong. You will drive growth by building and sustaining Greater China corporate banking relationships, focusing on Metals, Energy, and Commodity Traders.

The role requires a decade of banking origination and relationship experience, Mandarin fluency, and a proactive, client-centric approach to cross-sell loans, trade finance, and FX solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in Commercial Banking origination and relationship management within Commodity and Trade Finance, Metals, Energy.
• Native Mandarin communication is essential.
• Energetic, self-motivated, customer-oriented and proactive to learn.
• Experience developing new client relationships and growing portfolios.
• Experience with local commercial clients across industries.
• Knowledge of loans, trade, and FX products.

Aufgaben

• Acquire and develop Greater China corporate banking clients, especially Metals, Energy and Commodity Traders, and other mid-cap PRC corporates.
• Marketing of Loans and customised-trade finance solutions to corporate customers.
• Prepare credit applications, monitor account conduct and facility utilisation, and conduct regular credit reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and execute transactions.
• Oversee customer account opening processes and associated documentation.
• Produce reports for department head and senior management including pipeline forecasts and cross-selling income.
• Monitor loan book quality and ensure control measures to minimize risk.
• Handle customer inquiries and execute instructions for loan, deposit, FX or transaction banking.
