Job summary

All Star Agency in Hong Kong is recruiting an Executive Director, Client Coverage, Corporate Banking to originate relationships with large Greater Bay Area corporates. You will build a portfolio aligned with the bank's strategy, drive asset growth and revenue, and originate bilateral and syndicated loans.

You will own end-to-end deal execution, pitch, structure, present credit for approvals, and oversee documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in relationship management or loan origination.
• Experience with large China corporates.
• English fluent; Mandarin essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

Currently recruiting for a Executive Director, Client Coverage, Corporate Banking to originate relationships with large Greater Bay Area corporates.

Key Result Areas

• Originate and build a portfolio of new Greater Bay Area Corporate Banking clients that is aligned with the Bank's corporate banking strategy, achieving asset growth and revenue targets.
• Originate Bilateral and Syndication Loans
• Ownership of end-to-end deal execution, including delivering deal pitches, structuring, proposing and presenting credit for authority approvals, overseeing facility documentation and onboarding.
• Leveraging existing relationships with C-suite decision-makers, the jobholder will provide overall relationship management support to deliver solutions across the bank's product universe including Lending, Payments, Trade Finance, Treasury (FX, Rates) and DCM.
• Execute on well-thought out account plans to ensure delivery of cross-sell and credit strategy with each client.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relationship management, deal origination and/or loan syndication experience covering large China Corporates.
• Prior experience in a global bank in Hong Kong is desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trade finance, cash management, capital market, FX/ derivatives, and corporate finance products is essential, as it relates to providing comprehensive solutions to Client/Prospect.
• Strong credit assessment and presentation skills.
• Team player with solid organizational skills and ability to handle pressure and deadlines.
• Self-disciplined/ motivated with a high degree of initiative and drive.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines. Master's degree or equivalent from a business school/ university not required but would be a plus.
• Ability to communicate fluently and concisely (written and verbal) in English. Mandarin is essential.
• Based in Hong Kong, the position will necessitate business travel to China.
