Hong Kong Cyberport Management Co Ltd is seeking a Data Centre Operator to join our IT Services team in Hong Kong. The role involves following procedures, supporting batch processing, system monitoring, report distribution, data backup and restoration, and coordinating service support.
You will handle first-line incident monitoring, escalate as needed, coordinate onsite access, monitor facility and security, perform smart hands requests, and prepare daily and monthly operation reports.
Follow procedures, instructions and checklists to carry out assigned tasks
Provide operation support in data centres, including but not limited to batch processing, system monitoring, report distribution, data backup and restoration
Attend service hotline and coordinate service support
Perform first line incident monitoring, handling and escalation to upper tiers
Coordinate onsite access and equipment delivery, escort personnel working in the data centres whenever necessary
Monitor physical security, system and facility availability in data centres
Perform smart hands of customer requests
Prepare daily and monthly operation reports
Requirements
Certificate, diploma or above in computing studies or related disciplines.
Experience in supporting 7x24 data centre operations
Basic understanding of data centre operations and facility management will be an advantage
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Ability to work independently and under pressure
7x24 shift duty required
