Responsibilities

• Participate and assist in the buildup of the Data Centre from ground zero under the guidance and support of the designer and builder of the team.
• Oversee IT Service Management functions, including system, network, storage, software management, and daily operations.
• Serve as the focal point of contact for communications regarding IT operations, representing the customer.
• Manage a team of 8-10 IT support professionals, including Network Engineers, System Engineers, and Operators, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
• Lead the overall provision of the services to the customer.
• Manage IT service release launches and change management, including documentation and training materials, and provide training to IT staff and users.
• Lead the coordination and resolution of major incidents and problems, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
• Monitor and report on the performance of IT services against established service level agreements (SLAs) and targets.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work with vendors to perform IT support activities.
• Implement and manage security protocols and measures to protect the infrastructure and data.
• Perform ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as requested.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, system integrators, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of proven experience in managing IT operations.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in end‑point support, network support, IT infrastructure management, and security.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proficient in procurement and vendor management processes.Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Candidates with experience in compliance‑related environments, such as Financial Services Industry (FSI) and government sectors, are preferred.
