Job summary

Amazon AWS Data Center Engineering Operations in Hong Kong seeks a proactive professional to monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure. You will operate electrical and mechanical systems, perform routine rounds, and log key readings while coordinating with contractors to ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

The role requires on-call participation, shift work, and emergency response readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in electrical or mechanical/building services engineering or related field.
• REW certificate and safety training experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate to cover 24/7 operations.
• Monitor and operate electrical and mechanical equipment in the data center.
• Perform daily rounds and log readings (temperature, voltage, current).
• Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot facility issues.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for operations and maintenance.
• Participate in emergency drills and follow established protocols.
• Be part of on-call rotation and respond to emergencies on site.
