Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) seeks candidates with a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and hands-on facility experience for a 24/7 operation role in Hong Kong. The role involves monitoring critical data center equipment, coordinating maintenance, and supporting emergency response in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus a valid REW certificate.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical practical experience.
• Valid REW Certificate, Grade A or above.

Responsibilities

• Rotate shifts to maintain 24/7 data center operations.
• Monitor and operate electrical and mechanical facilities equipment.
• Conduct daily readings of temperature, voltages, currents, etc.
• Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot facility issues.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors for maintenance and records.
• Participate in emergency drills and on-call rotations.
