Job summary

Amazon Data Services Hong Kong Limited operates the region’s critical data center infrastructure, ensuring continuous cloud service delivery. The EOT role covers monitoring, troubleshooting, and on-going maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems to support 24/7 operations.

You will lead shift-based work, coordinate with contractors, and mentor junior staff while adhering to internal safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline typically required.
• 5+ years of electrical or mechanical practical and technical experience.
• Valid REW certificate, Grade A or above.
• Green Card and Construction Workers Registration Card required.
• Able to rotate shifts and maintain 24/7 operations.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS control systems and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Rotating shift work is required to maintain 24/7 operations coverage.
• Monitor and operate electrical and mechanical equipment in the data center.
• Perform routine rounds and record daily readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot, and participate in drills and on-call rotations.
• Arrange and supervise contractors and vendors to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and new joiners and update SOPs.
