Job summary

SGS Hong Kong Limited is seeking a customer service professional to support key accounts in a fast-paced testing environment. You will handle inquiries, prepare documents, and provide technical guidance.

Collaborating with laboratory teams and sales, you will ensure timely service delivery, accurate records, and ongoing client satisfaction. Mandarin-English Chinese bilingual communication is required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Chemistry, Applied Science, or a related discipline.
• Candidates from non-chemistry backgrounds with laboratory experience are welcome.
• Customer service, account servicing, or laboratory-related experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Project coordination or project management experience is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via email, phone, and other communication channels.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, agreements, and related documents for customers.
• Provide professional technical advice and testing solutions to meet customer needs.
• Liaise closely with laboratory teams on sample handling, testing requirements, and project scheduling.
• Monitor testing progress and maintain accurate testing records for key accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while supporting business growth.
• Collaborate with sales and frontline teams to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Keep customers informed of relevant regulatory updates and provide recommendations where appropriate.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors.
