Job summary

SGS Hong Kong Limited is seeking an Assistant Technical Services Manager for Hardlines, Toy, and Physical testing. You will lead the laboratory quality management system to ensure ISO 17025 compliance, drive audits and continuous improvement, and safeguard test data integrity and report confidentiality.

You will guide test development, manage LIMS, and coordinate with internal teams and customers. The role demands strong English and Chinese skills, mature leadership, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Science, Physics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant laboratory/technical services experience; toy testing is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Mature, proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the laboratory quality management system to ensure ISO 17025 compliance.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of laboratory data and test reports.
• Lead new test development, method improvement and R&D projects.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Evaluate external service providers to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Lead team development, recruitment, performance management and training.
• Build and implement training plans aligned with business objectives.
