Job summary

Tokalent is seeking a seasoned CTO to lead the technology strategy for a new stablecoin issuer. You will shape the architecture, security posture, and cross-chain interoperability while partnering with product and layer 1 collaborators to deliver a robust platform.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in tech, deep blockchain knowledge, and hands-on experience with Solidity and Rust, plus excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. Fluent English required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.
• 10+ years of technical experience; 2+ years in digital assets, blockchain, or cybersecurity.
• Familiar with DLT, stablecoins settlement, and RWAs.
• Deep knowledge of Layer-1/2 networks, DeFi, and Web3.
• Proven experience with Solidity and Rust.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the technology team in collaboration with product and layer 1 partner.
• Develop the technical architecture of the stablecoin within a blockchain environment.
• Assess cybersecurity risks to ensure safe, stable and fast operation.
• Independently develop, integrate, deploy, refactor and tune smart contracts and manage execution.
• Oversee custody of the stablecoin and maintain security controls.
• Build cross-chain interoperability for the stablecoin.
• Recruit, train, supervise or participate in staffing decisions for engineers and developers.
• Devise technical strategy around platforms, partnerships and external relationships.
