Job summary

Tokalent seeks a senior technology leader to drive architecture and strategic direction for a high-performance Layer-1/Layer-2 blockchain platform. You will shape technical roadmap, lead multidisciplinary teams, and build scalable systems in a remote, globally distributed environment.

You will assess cutting-edge technologies, manage risk, review smart contract implications, and foster external relationships with the blockchain community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Remote role; candidates may be located in New York, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Dubai, or elsewhere.
• 6+ years of experience with 3+ years in blockchain/fintech projects.
• Deep knowledge of Layer-1/Layer-2 networks and Web3 protocols.
• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, and C++.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to technology teams.
• Develop the technical architecture within a blockchain environment to support business goals.
• Set the technical strategy around platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
• Conduct research and case studies on cutting-edge technologies and assess implementation potential.
• Evaluate and anticipate technical risks to ensure safe, stable, and fast operation.
• Familiar with consensus mechanisms, encryption, zero-knowledge proofs, OSS code, and cross-chain tech.
• Independently develop, integrate, deploy, refactor and tune smart contracts; manage smart contract execution security.
• Assign and review work of system analysts, programmers, and developers.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff or participate in staffing decisions.
• Involve building bridges and networking within the Blockchain community, including notable influencers.
