Job summary

Tokalent seeks a Head of Operations in Hong Kong for a leading stablecoin issuer. You will build the operations team, design controls and processes, and partner with tech and product to deliver seamless settlement, minting and redemption experiences.

You will lead policy development, risk management, vendor oversight, and staffing decisions while ensuring smooth operations in a regulated crypto environment. English fluency is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required; preference for Engineering disciplines.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a nice-to-have.
• At least 7 years of experience, with 2+ years in digital assets, Web3, payments, or banking.
• Strong interest in blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 protocols.
• Excellent project, team, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Operations covering settlement, redemption, minting, reconciliation, risk management and reporting.
• Develop policies and processes to ensure regulatory controls (HKMA) compliance.
• Design end-to-end operations flows aligned with business strategy.
• Plan operations and provide best-in-class user services and redemption experience.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams; participate in improvement projects.
• Support vendor management and staffing decisions for operations and payments.
