Job summary

InfoTech Services ( HK ) Ltd. 資訊科技服務(香港)有限公司 is seeking a CSA to provide operation and infrastructure services for the EMAN system, covering desktops, gateways, networks, servers and IT security.

This full-time assignment requires at least four years of IT experience, including system implementation, with strong Linux, network, storage, and security skills to support government-scale IT services.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' post-qualification IT experience, including at least one year of experience in system implementation.
• Solid experience in technical skills; exposure to mission critical Government IT system is preferable.
• Experience in outsourced system support operations of large scale IT systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide operation and infrastructure service for EMAN covering desktops, gateways, networks, servers and IT security.
• To ensure maximum system availability and meet defined service levels of EMAN.
• To provide ongoing support and implement new enhancements of EMAN and on quality assurance.
• To support the EMAN infrastructure team and contractors for provisioning the support services in place.
• To identify service needs and prepare specifications for procurement of hardware, software and maintenance services for EMAN; and
• To perform tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job description

This is a CSA position for providing the operation and infrastructure service of Electronic System for Cargo Manifest (EMAN) that cover desktops, gateways, networks, servers and IT security.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;

To ensure maximum system availability and meet defined service levels of EMAN;

To provide ongoing support and implement new enhancements of EMAN and on quality assurance;

To support the EMAN infrastructure team and contractors for provisioning the support services that are in place;

To identify the service needs and prepare relevant specifications documents to facilitate the procurement of hardware, software and maintenance services for EMAN; and

To perform the tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirement:

At least four years of post-qualification IT experience, including at least one year of experience in system implementation;

Require solid experience in technical skills; and

It is preferable with exposure in mission critical Government IT system and solid experience in manage outsourced system support operation of large scale IT systems.

Technical Skills:

At least 2 years' experience in IT Security;

At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration;

At least 2 years' experience in Network Design;

At least 2 years' experience in Storage Area Network;

At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology;

2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS is an advantage.

Non-technical Skill:

At least 6 months' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
