Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Software Testing and IT Support professional to assist system enhancements, coordinate vendor deliverables, and support IT facilities for a new office. The role requires hands-on testing, planning, defect tracking, and ensuring compliance with government IT security policies.

The ideal candidate has a degree in IT or CS, 4+ years in IT application development and testing, and strong English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in software testing, system enhancement, and defect tracking
• Experience in coordination and project delivery management
• Experience in IT facility maintenance and management (including PCs and network devices) is an advantage
• Clear understanding of Government Standards and Guidelines such as Baseline IT Security Policy (S17), IT Security Guidelines (G3) and Security Regulations (SR)
• At least 2-year working experience with the Government
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written English & Chinese
• At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management
• At least 4 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development
• At least 4 years' experience in J2EE Development
• At least 4 years' experience in Office Automation
• 4 years' experience in Web Services is an advantage
• 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.

Job description

Software Testing for System Enhancement.

Duties:

Assist software testing for system enhancements, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing;

Monitor software vendors / developers by coordinating requirements, monitoring deliverables, resolving issues, and ensuring timely completion of enhancement projects;

Assist office relocation and related setup of IT facilities for a new office;

Provide general PC support and user support on the system usage;

Ensure all system enhancements and general IT facilities comply with IT security policies and guidelines of the Government;

Any duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement:

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience in software testing, system enhancement, and defect tracking

Experience in coordination and project delivery management

Experience in IT facility maintenance and management (including personal computers and network devices) is an advantage

Technical Skills:

At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management;

At least 4 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development;

4 years' experience in Web Services is an advantage;

1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

At least 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services;

At least 2 years' experience in quality management;

At least 2 years' experience in software testing;

At least 2 years' experience in customer service;

At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government;

2 years' experience in vendor management is an advantage;

1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures is an advantage.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
