Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Systems Analyst to analyse user requirements, design, develop, implement and maintain web application systems using .NET technologies. You will work on system architecture, coding standards, testing oversight, and technical documentation.

The role requires strong OOP, UI/UX principles, MVC/MVVM design patterns, and solid MS SQL Server skills. Experience with AI-enabled development and Visual Studio .NET is highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of IT experience; 1 year in a similar post.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, UI/UX principles and design patterns (MVC, MVVM).
• Solid experience in MS SQL Server, database architecture and SQL tuning.
• Experience building apps with AI capabilities and AI coding tools is desirable.

Job description

Contract Systems Analyst (C41075) - .NET

Ongoing Application System Maintenance and Support of Systems in CFS of the department.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;

To analyse user requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and formulate technical solutions;

To design, develop, implement, and maintain web application systems, including system architecture design, testing oversight, and technical documentation;

To manage and enhance existing web applications and infrastructure;

To oversee database architecture, setup, and administration;

To manage server maintenance, system capacity planning, and performance tuning; and

To assist supervisor in staff management.

Requirement:

Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), UI/UX design principles, and design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM);

Solid experience in database architecture, schema setup, SQL stored procedure writing, and query performance tuning on MS SQL Server and

Knowledge and experience in building applications that incorporate AI capabilities; and utilizing AI coding tools and LLM agents to accelerate development, automate code generation and improve code quality, are desirable.

Years of IT Experience: At least four (4) years'; post-qualification IT experience of which one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity

Working hours: Normal office hours

Working location: The department's offices in Hong Kong SAR

Technical Skills:

At least 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management;

At least 5 years' experience in HTML5;

At least 5 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server;

At least 5 years' experience in .Net Development;

At least 5 years' experience in .NET C#;

At least 5 years' experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design;

At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support;

At least 5 years' experience in Structured Query Language;

At least 5 years' experience in Visual Studio. Net.

Non-technical Skill:

At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government;

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
