InfoTech Services ( HK ) Ltd. 資訊科技服務(香港)有限公司 in Hong Kong SAR seeks an IT professional for system development, maintenance and support.

The role involves coding in Java, implementing and testing modules, and assisting senior staff with prototype development based on user requirements. Requirements include 3+ years in Java, system implementation, SQL, web programming, wireless/mobile and web services, plus a bachelor’s or higher diploma in CS/IT.

Qualifications

• At least three years' post-qualification IT experience, with one year in a similar post.
• 3+ years' experience in Java programming.
• 3+ years' experience in system implementation and maintenance/support.
• 3+ years' experience in SQL.
• 3+ years' experience in web programming.
• 3+ years' experience in wireless and mobile.
• 3+ years' experience in web services.
• Bachelor's degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English; interview required.

Job description

System development, maintenance and support.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;

To assist senior staff in system development;

To develop prototype according to collected user requirements;

To perform coding, derive test plan and carry out testing on program modules;

To assist the team to carry out system testing and user testing.

Requirements:

Years of IT Experience: At least three years' post-qualification IT experience of which one year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity

Working hours: Normal office hours

Working location: The department's offices in Hong Kong SAR

Language required: Cantonese and English

On call duty: Not required

Interview: Required

Others: Knowledge and experience in building applications that incorporate AI capabilities; and utilizing AI coding tools and LLM agents to accelerate development, automate code generation and improve code quality, are desirable

Technical Skills:

At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming;

At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support;

At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language;

At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming;

At least 3 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile;

At least 3 years' experience in Web Services.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
