Job summary

St. James' Settlement in Wan Chai is seeking a Human Resources Officer (Contract). The role requires a degree in HRM or related fields, and at least two years of HR experience in a sizable organisation.

Sound knowledge of Labour Ordinance and HR compliance is essential, with strong English and Chinese communication skills. The successful candidate will support full HR functions including onboarding, tax filing, retirement fund administration, and leave management, while maintaining HRIS records

Qualifications

Degree holder or above in Human Resources Management or related disciplines.
HKCEE five passes (incl. English and Chinese) or HKDSE five subjects (incl. Chinese and English) or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience in a sizable company.
Well-versed in Labour Ordinance and HR-related ordinances.
Detail-minded, well-organised, responsible, proactive, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Support full spectrum of HR functions including C&B, onboarding, tax filing, retirement fund administration and leave management.
Handle EC cases, HRIS, routine HR inquiries, and HR audits.
Maintain employee databases and ensure records are up-to-date and accurate.
Assist in formulating and implementing HR policies, procedures and tools per company rules and regulations.
Compile HR statistics and reports for Management review.
Perform ad hoc assignments or projects as required.
