Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Cloud Solution Specialist (Presales) to drive Alibaba Cloud/Aliyun engagements in Hong Kong and the wider region. You will lead workshops, shape cloud strategies, and design practical cloud solutions that enable digital transformation, governance, security, and cost optimization.

You will collaborate with Sales, Account Management and Delivery teams to identify opportunities, create compelling proposals, and guide customers through migration planning and FinOps.

Qualifications

• Experience with Alibaba Cloud/Aliyun solutions and presales activities.
• Ability to design cloud architectures and landing zones for enterprise customers.
• Strong customer engagement and ability to work with Sales and Delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions, assessments and solution design for Alibaba Cloud and Aliyun.
• Design cloud architectures, migration roadmaps, governance models and managed services solutions.
• Support proposals, RFPs/RFIs, SOWs and technical presentations with documentation.
• Advise on cloud migration, modernization, security, compliance, backup, DR, and FinOps best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Delivery and partners to position services.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Specialist (Presales) - Alibaba Cloud / Aliyun to drive business growth, lead technical customer engagements, and design cloud solutions that support digital transformation, modernization, governance, security, and cost optimization.

As a Cloud Solution Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, working closely with Sales, Account Management, and Delivery teams to identify opportunities, shape cloud strategies, and design practical Alibaba Cloud and Aliyun solutions. You will support customers throughout their cloud adoption journey, from discovery and solution architecture through migration planning, governance, FinOps, and managed services positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading customer workshops, discovery sessions, assessments, and solution design engagements focused on Alibaba Cloud and Aliyun.
• Designing cloud architectures, landing zones, governance models, migration roadmaps, and managed services solutions aligned to customer business needs.
• Supporting proposals, RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work, technical presentations, and customer solution documentation.
• Advising customers on cloud migration, modernization, security, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and FinOps best practices.
• Collaborating with Sales, Account Management, Delivery, and partner teams to position SoftwareOne's professional and managed services capabilities.
• Building trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders while supporting cloud adoption and long-term customer success.
