The University of Hong Kong is seeking a Clerical Assistant/ Office Attendant in the School of Innovation on a one-year, temporary basis with possible renewal subject to performance and funding. The role requires strong office support skills and basic IT proficiency, and involves multiple clerical tasks and event support.
Applicants should have 5 HKCEE passes including English and Chinese or HKDSEE Level 2, fluency in Cantonese, and basic English/Putonghua communication.
Clerical Assistant/ Office Attendant in the School of Innovation (Ref.: 537271) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year, temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) and Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language and Chinese Language preferably with 2 years’ relevant work experience. They should be fluent in Cantonese and possess basic communication skills in English and Putonghua. They should also possess basic IT proficiency in MS Word and Excel, good customer service skills, be self-motivated, responsible and proactive. Those with less experience and/or lower qualifications may be appointed as Clerical Assistant.
The appointee will assist with daily office and supply management, clerical, logistics, and event support, as well as postal and mail handling, and perform other duties as assigned. Occasional off-campus work and outside office hours, including weekends and public holidays, may be required.
