Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club seeks a Manager, Charities (Data Science/Programming) to drive data collection, analysis and impact reporting for charitable projects in HK. You will own data architecture, governance and analytics to inform strategic decisions and external reporting.

You will collaborate with IT and program teams to design dashboards and visualisations, ensuring privacy, accuracy and timely insights for senior leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, data science, statistics or related discipline.
• Strong confidentiality handling and data privacy awareness.
• Strong knowledge of data management principles, practices and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, R and Python for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, organisation, analysis and reporting for Charities projects.
• Design and maintain a data architecture supporting data collection, storage and retrieval.
• Develop data management strategies to ensure accuracy and security of data.
• Create dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Apply data analysis to identify trends and inform program evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and privacy.
• Collaborate with IT for deployment of analytics solutions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to shape Charities' data vision and strategy.
