The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Charities Manager (Compliance and Risk Management) to coordinate and support centralized functions across Strategic Planning, Operations and Reporting within the Charities and Community Division.
You will assist with compliance, risk management, process reviews, due diligence, audit coordination and other compliance exercises, helping to strengthen governance, regulatory adherence and effective stakeholder engagement.
Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (\"the Club\") is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day-to-day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross-sectoral collaboration.
The job holder will coordinate and support the centralised functions of Strategic Planning, Operations & Reporting. He / she will mainly provide assistance in the areas of compliance, risk management, process review, due diligence, audit coordination, and other compliance exercises.
