Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Senior Manager, Charities (Academy for Professional Sports Development) to help design roadmaps and oversee cross‑department projects within the Charities and Community division. You will lead governance, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to drive impactful charitable initiatives and ensure timely, quality deliverables.

A Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in business process improvement or operations management.
• Experience in business event management, delivery and communications for international or regional organisations/federations.
• Experience working in leading consulting firms preferred but not necessary.
• Knowledge and experience in project management is a must (at least 5 years in a managerial role).
• Extensive experience in dealing with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support leadership in planning and designing roadmaps for key projects; collaborate with departments to review processes for improvements
• Oversee project planning by evaluating capabilities, resources, risks, and timelines; manage assigned projects to ensure quality deliverables and address emerging issues
• Lead implementation planning, including developing standard operating procedures and conducting evaluations for ongoing improvement
• Safeguard project governance to ensure deliverables meet specifications; manage budgets and prepare reports on progress and financial status
• Ensure compliance with policies; explore collaboration opportunities and monitor project spending and outcomes
• Engage stakeholders and support team development and cross-department collaboration to enhance project outcomes
