Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Senior Manager, Charities (Claims Management / Payment Operations) to lead payment processes, data analysis, and governance for the HKJC Charities Trust. You will collaborate with Finance, Audit and project teams to drive improvements and ensure compliance across charitable programmes.

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting, internal audit, social sciences and/or market research fields.
  • Good understanding of philanthropic topics, including local social issues and trends, latest international philanthropic trends, tools, and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of payment process enhancements and grantee-related initiatives, including preparation of documentation and communication materials.
  • Conduct data analysis and support ongoing review of payment operations to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in reviewing claims, reports, and related documentation to ensure completeness and alignment with established guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Audit, project teams) on operational matters and follow up on assigned tasks.
  • Maintain proper records, trackers, and documentation to support governance and audit requirements.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and training materials as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by seniors.

The Division

The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day-to-day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross-sectoral collaboration.


The Job

  • Support the implementation of payment process enhancements and grantee-related initiatives, including preparation of documentation and communication materials.

  • Conduct data analysis and support ongoing review of payment operations to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or above
