Job summary

Jia Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong seeks a skilled service professional to join our fine-dining team. You will ensure guests are serviced promptly, present menus confidently, and assist with selections. The role requires fluent English and Cantonese, with Mandarin a plus.

You will work in a high-profile venue, maintain SOPs, and contribute to monthly inventory accuracy. You will collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house to deliver exceptional experiences, participate in staff

Qualifications

• Experience in fine-dining restaurants would be advantageous.
• Customer-service oriented mindset with ability to deliver fantastic service in a high profile venue.
• Great presentation and conversational skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are serviced within a specified time.
• Answer questions regarding the menu and assist with selections.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times and product availability.
• Check guest satisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Clear, collect and return food and beverage items to the assigned area.
• Review order dockets for accurate and timely preparations.
• Uphold restaurant standards and SOPs.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks on operating equipment and supplies.

Job description

Ensure guests are serviced within a specified time.

Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards.

Able to answer any questions regarding the menu and assist with menu selections.

Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.

Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.

Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages

Responsible for clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to the assigned area.

Reviews order dockets ensuring accurate and timely preparations for order requirements accordingly.

Ensures restaurant standards and SOP's are consistently implemented.

Conducts monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
