Galick Management Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, plan promotions, and drive guest satisfaction and service quality. You will coordinate with the Head Chef on menus, maintain sanitation, and lead a team through training and coaching.
The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality Management and at least 8 years of relevant experience in medium-sized operations, with strong English, Chinese and Mandarin communication skills.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and ensuring the success of the restaurant and bar.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar
Strategic planning of periodic promotions for the Restaurant
Strive for continuous improvement on service standards, product quality, and guest satisfaction
Establish a pool of VIPs for the Restaurant and build out and meticulously maintain the VIP/Corporate segment within the CRM, tracking personal preferences, key milestones, and strategic account mapping
Maintain sanitation standards
Coordinate with the Head Chef on periodic menu planning and to ensure good quality of food
Provide leadership and direction in the execution and measurement of guest satisfaction to ensure continued growth and profitability
Prepare, recommend, and manage the department's annual budgets, forecasts, marketing plans, and objectives
Monitor and manage a team of food and beverage talents, providing supervision, professional development, training, counseling, and coaching
Politely greet customers and lead the team in executing daily dining hall work, including customer service, quality checks, and staff training
Diploma holder in Hospitality Management
At least 8 years' relevant experience in medium-sized restaurant/catering operations, with 3 years' experience in a similar capacity
Knowledge of bar operation would be an advantage
A proven record in leading a team with high-quality service
Sociable and able to interact with guests with a strong sense of hospitality and passion
Good organizational and coordination skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and conversational in both English, Chinese and Mandarin (Fluent Cantonese, simple English and Mandarin preferred)
Hands-on experience of MS Office applications
Possess a good customer service attitude, and be enthusiastic and proactive
