Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) in Hong Kong is inviting expressions of interest for the role of Project and Facilities Manager. The position involves leading capital projects, coordinating design development, ensuring compliance with ESF standards, and managing maintenance across campuses.

The candidate should have a related bachelor's degree and over a decade of postgraduate experience, with strong English and preferably Cantonese skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant technical subject.
• Over 10 years of relevant Post-Graduate experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with end-users and internal teams, and with consultants/contractors to articulate project objectives.
• Plan and implement capital projects, alterations, additions, and renovations to meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Coordinate design development with in-house and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure ESF Design Standards.
• Oversee day-to-day management with internal teams, consultants, contractors, schools and authorities.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce maintenance plans to maximise asset lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Act as on-site client representative during construction, ensuring quality workmanship and timely progress payments.
• Manage procurement and tendering for consultants and contractors, including contract administration and payments.
• Prepare regular project status reports and ensure proper project close-out with as-built drawings and manuals.
