Job summary

South Island School, part of the English Schools Foundation (ESF), is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee school facilities and Health & Safety. You will lead the site team, coordinate with contractors, and ensure the campus remains secure, well-maintained and safe for all users.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and decisive coordination with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable facilities services and compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Cantonese (oral and written).
• Demonstrated staff management and supervisory experience.
• Strong coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of school facilities, including health and safety compliance.
• Lead site team and manage outsourced contractors to maintain and repair facilities.
• Oversee budgeting, records, and procurement for facilities operations.
• Coordinate with building services and safety regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer facilities-related tenders and vendor relationships.
