Generali Life (Hong Kong) Limited is expanding its overseas agency business and will set up a team to drive agency growth in overseas markets. The role supports the Chief Business Officer to plan and execute overseas strategy in agency channels.
The Business Development Manager will implement growth strategies, expand overseas client networks, and build strong relationships with clients and partners, bridging overseas clients with the Hong Kong agency sales team.
Due to the expansion of overseas business, a team will be set up to drive company's agency business growth strategy in overseas market. The incumbent will assist Chief Business Officer to plan and execute the overseas business strategy in agency:
Implement Company's agency business development strategy in overseas business, seize business opportunities and explore new customer segments to achieve the Company's strategic business objectives
To expand the existing customer network of overseas in agency channel
To formulate and implement effective sales and marketing strategies in order to achieve growth in business against business plan
To maintain strong business relationships with new and potential clients and business partners
Act as a bridge between overseas clients and the Hong Kong agency sales team. To identity new business opportunities and client base for on-going business development
University degree in any discipline with minimum of 8 years' experience in insurance / banking / financial services industry
Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within overseas markets.
Established network and business connections in target overseas markets is highly preferred.
Knowledge and experience of Family Office or Private Banking is highly preferred
Possess a good network and relationships with potential high net worth clients
Strong communication and client servicing skill
Proficiency in English and Mandarin; additional foreign language capability would be an advantage
Strong understanding of overseas customer needs and market dynamics
