Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an experienced and highly organized project management professional to establish and lead the Product Day 2 Governance Framework across the organization. This role manages end-to-end lifecycle of Day 2 items, including enhancements, regulatory changes, operational improvements, and post-launch product enhancements.

The successful candidate will serve as the central governance and delivery lead, ensuring prioritization, resource allocation, dependency management and execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Day 2 or Project Management, transformation or insurance operations.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
• Strong project planning, execution and dependency management capabilities.
• Experience managing large backlogs and complex initiative portfolios.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Product Day 2 Governance Framework and operating model.
• Establish governance standards, prioritization methodologies, and delivery controls.
• Maintain centralized Day 2 portfolio; govern initiatives.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions balancing customer impact, regulatory requirements, operational risks and business benefits.
• Monitor portfolio health, backlogs, and progress; produce dashboards.
• Coordinate execution from concept to closure; manage dependencies and risks.
• Prepare status updates for the Product Implementation Committee.
• Ensure documentation and governance compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
