Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Hong Kong seeks an experienced project management professional to establish and lead the Product Day 2 Governance Framework across the organization. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Day 2 items, ensuring prioritization, resource allocation and cross-functional execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of PM/Day 2 experience, professional certifications and strong English/Chinese communication alongside advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, PM, IS or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Day 2 Management, PM, Process Improvement or related disciplines.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
• Strong project planning, execution and dependency management capabilities.
• Experience managing large backlogs and complex initiative portfolios.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Product Day 2 Governance Framework and operating model.
• Establish governance standards, prioritization methodologies and monitoring mechanisms.
• Maintain the centralized Day 2 portfolio and ensure governance of initiatives.
• Establish a risk-based prioritization framework balancing impact, regulation and benefits.
• Monitor portfolio health, delivery capacity, backlog aging and progress.
• Produce portfolio dashboards and executive reports for management.
• Coordinate and oversee Day 2 initiatives from concept through closure.
• Coordinate with PIC and present project status updates in regular meetings.
